Jöklar or Glaciers is an abstract three piece by Snædís Högnadóttir, inspired by the ever-changing nature of glaciers and the quiet stillness that accompanies their presence. A blue undertone forms the foundation, evoking the depth and cold of the ice, while a white layer across parts of the works softens the forms and brings forward subtle contrasts.

The works reflect constant transformation, how glaciers are shaped, move, and evolve over time and within their environment. Despite shared characteristics, each glacier holds its own uniqueness, revealed through varied texture and flow within the pieces.
