Snædís Högnadóttir or Sogna participated in the Litka Art Society group exhibition , which was held at Kringlan from 5-19 February 2026 as part of the Reykjavík Winter Festival. Sogna's work in the exhibition was the mountain work Sigurtindar.
TIGN
Snædís Högnadóttir's or Sogna's Solo art exhibition TIGN was in Slippbarinn Art Studio from January 11th to January 25th 2024.
Most of Sogna's works at the exhibition TIGN were inspired by the majesty and beauty of the mountains, which bring out the powerful emotions that could be found in the titles of the works. The mountains are full of mystery and uncertainty, love and heroism, where untrodden paths mark the path of life. We all go our separate ways, sometimes with mountains on our shoulders. Most of us have to climb a few peaks along the way, but the beauty is always there.
