Glacier Depth is an abstract duo piece by Snædís Högnadóttir, inspired by the depth of glaciers and the stillness that characterizes their presence. Blue undertones lie at the base and refer to the cold, clarity and hidden powers of ice, while lighter layers and soft textures create balance and highlight contrasts within the works.

The works reflect the constant movement and transformation of glaciers, how they slowly shape themselves with time, environment and natural forces. Despite the strong connection, each work has its own appearance, as different flows, depths and textures give each work a unique character and presence.
